The Scheme
- Starting salary of £28,000
- Join the company as a ‘Management Trainee’, completing placements within the Huddersfield Control Centre (HCC), a Support Function (typically HR, Projects, Finance or Fleet) and field locations supporting the Location Transport Manager.
- Hands on experience in a variety of Operational roles and involvement in business-wide projects with autonomy and responsibility from an early stage
- Operational and leadership experience in a rapidly growing organisation and fast paced Unionised environment
- Structured training and development
- Exposure to key operational areas to develop your management capabilities. You will have an outgoing personality and be capable of influencing others and working on your own and as part of a team. You will have the ability not only to challenge the status quo but also to drive through improvements. You will be flexible in your approach to work and possess a highly analytical mind and be comfortable with numbers, as detailed financial appraisal is an essential part of all our managerial positions. You will have a strong determination to succeed in a demanding environment and be able to demonstrate potential business acumen and an ability to think on your feet.

Selection Criteria
- Demonstrate leadship ability
- Driving licence
- Must be geographically mobile
- Strong English/Maths skills
- 2:1 degree (preferably Business or Logistics)
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft packages)
